Damar Adi Prabowo

Hi, I'm Damar – a father, husband, and Data Engineer originally from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I have been working in the data world for over 4 years now. I do end-to-end data work, from Architecture and Engineering to Warehousing and Visualization. While my specialization is in the data technologies, I am passionate about all things tech, and I hope to make a dent in the universe with it.

My journey in the data field began during my college days, where I am studying Computer Science and ended up publishing this paper where I utilize Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to detect the semantic similarity between two questions.

I've been working as a Data Engineer across Indonesia's leading companies - from Astra International, to Ruangguru, and now at Valbury Asia Futures.

Throughout my journey, I've worked with various data technologies including cloud platforms, databases, data orchestration tools, analytics platforms, and development tools. Recently, I've also been diving into AI stuff, the new shiny thing that's been making waves in the tech world.
